Inspiration
My husband has been my rock and inspiration in diving into the arts. Despite my physical disabilities, he found ways to adapt activities so I could explore my creativity. He is the heart of our family and the muse behind my children’s book series and poetry.
Themes
I tackle a range of topics from love and death to life’s many complexities. Whether I’m writing for children or for a more mature audience, my works speak to the very essence of human experience.

Journey
Having grown up homeless, I spent much of my life in survival mode, often feeling like I took up too much space. It wasn’t until I met my current husband that I opened up to the world of arts and began to thrive.
Hope
I want my writings to touch people’s lives. If I can inspire or help even one person, I feel like I have succeeded. I am a staunch believer in spreading love and kindness, as echoed in my children’s book series motto: “Kindness is our Most Important Tool.”
Up Coming Projects
I have a myriad of ongoing ventures including three poetry anthologies, additional Mr. Fix It books, and a reimagining of the Fix It Tales as bedtime stories narrated by Pugsley the Wonder Pug. I’m also dabbling in animations and an NFT series called “Pug Problems.”
Family
Family means the world to me. My two sons are the inspiration behind the characters of Mr. Fix It and Pugsley, while my brilliant daughter inspired the mini-story of Little Star in one of my books. We do everything together — from art to dance parties to maintaining our garden.
Interests and Hobbies
Beyond my professional life, I love birdwatching, stargazing, cooking, dancing, and photography. I also enjoy taking my dog for walks and singing/listening to music.
